Current Dream:
Someone in my room?
Hello there,
I wonder could you give me your interpretation of all of this.
I don't normally remember dreams but this is how it started. I was lying in bed one night and I woke up with the feeling that someone was entering my bedroom. I felt a presence and the door moved(I can't say for definite if that was imagination or not). I sat bolt upright still kind of asleep and screamed ' Get out, get out - I don't know you' and then woke up fully. The following night I dreamt that I was in my room again and someone came into the room and stood at the end of my bed. I didn't recognise her but she looked a little bit like a client of mine. She said her name was Barbara. She said that she was dead but she could still talk to me. She said she talked to all the other dead people all the time. (For some reason I wasn't hugely afraid). Anyway, as I tried to talk to her she faded and I woke up.
A night or two later I dreamt that I was in my parents house in my old bedroom that I used to share with my little sister and once again the woman was there. This time she was sitting on the end of my sister's bed(which was empty). She told me again that she talks to other dead people all the time and that she knew my aunty and uncle(who died at age 40 and 41 leaving 5 chicldren who my parents adopted). She told me my uncle had gone straight to the ground but my aunty did not.
Then before I could think to ask her what that meant she faded away into this kind of light and then disappeared completely.
I am fairly sure these are connected but don't know in what way. I was close to my aunt but did not know my uncle very well. I am very close to their children who grew up as my brothers and sisters. One in particular I was very close to, however she died about 20 years ago.
I would be really interested if you could give me any perspective on this.

hello B,
Spirits in your dreams can reflect your anxiety and fears about death. As you can see from the pattern some of the the people in your dream passed over quite young.
Spirits can also be associated with messages from the other side or reassuring you that you are being looked after thus the sense of not feeling afraid.
It's actually quite a simple interpretation.
As the dreamer you are looking for answers to some problems in your waking life and the spirit world may provide the answer to your question.
The family aspect of your dream stems from the fact that we spend our formative years with our families gaining our values, our opinions and our attitudes, while the fact that these people have passed over shows that you have gained independence. I feel that you are inclined to spend a lot of time worrying about career which is extremely pressurising. Try to relax and enjoy quality time. Leave the work behind at the close of day and remember that you're being guided from a higher realm and they want you to know.
