I'm asleep in bed I look at the window my curtains pull apart really quickly and a face of a clown is staring at me. I leap out of bed and hover in air then I wake up. What does this dream mean?
Dear Mary
This is certainly a vivid dream - I would be interested to know whether you were aware of the colours. When we have such strong bizarre dreams as the one you have described we must realise that our dreams are trying to tell us something important. You have probably had a few strange dreams over the last couple of weeks, especially ones were you were in your bedroom.
Firstly your bed signifies a place that is very personal. It also represents comfort and security, we only invite certain people to our bed, so beware that any outside entity that disturbs you in your bed - especially if you were sleeping in your dream is quite literally a "wake up call". Your bedroom window is your own personal view of the world. If a face of a clown was staring at you, you need to consider if you have been thoughtless in your actions or points of view, and hurt somebody, who on the face of it may laugh it off, or whom may seem harmless. You must remember that to be a clown requires a disguise - all is not as it seems! Be aware of any remarks you pass as you may be bringing somebody to their boiling point which could result in an outburst. The last part of your dream is when you leap out of bed and hover in the air - shows that you can quickly and discreetly rectify the situation and can rise above the problem, but this is an action on your part. This is a warning dream that is helping you to avoid a clash with another person that you wish to avoid.
Best of luck
April
