I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your cats. Firstly, to put your mind at rest, both of your cats are safe and well. It is very common for cats to go missing. Sometimes they are in accidents, or like your two cats they go far afield and can't find their way back. Your first cat seems to be living outdoors, but is cared for by an elderly couple who feed and take care of it. Whilst the other cat seems to be adopted by a family with other cats as playmates. I know you miss both of them terribly. But take solace that they are both fit and well. I know at the moment you do not want to get another cat, but I see you getting one in the next two months, though my advice to you is the minute you get the cat, make sure you use an ID tag with a phone number which is very visible so that you will feel a lot more at ease. The next cat you get is coming across as being quite lazy and by my cards will not be straying anywhere.
